So, I’ve been working out for a month so far now, and I’ve lost 18 lbs. I’m really happy with myself. My wife is proud of me too, which makes me want to keep even more dedicated to it than ever. I am hoping that I can keep this up. I’m eating right for the first time in my life. I feel fantastic. The biggest thing for me was to cut out sodas, but I did and I haven’t had a soda in a month! It’s so awesome. I feel so much better.
The importance of getting in shape for me is that I am seriously considering becoming a Firefighter. My cousin has told me that I can do it but he just wonders if I can pass the physical test, but he hasn’t seen me since I started working out. Hopefully I can keep doing this and start training for the physical portion. I will probably be going to get certified as an emt soon as well.
